The austrian Garten & Teak company is going to introduce its garden furniture from exotic wood on the FOR GARDEN Trade Fair. Teak wood comes from tropical area of the Java island in Indonesia. The production of this wood has a 100 year tradition and is strongly controlled to be in compliance with nature protection. A special characteristic of this wood is its remarkable height – it reaches up to 40 meters. The teak wood is thanks to content of natural oils and ruber suitable for outdoor spaces. It is resistant to weather conditions, heat, cold, dampness, snow, drought, insolation and mould. Thanks to its special qualities it is also used for ship building. Teak wood is very popular also for a wide range of colours and tones.

The family company CHICO Hängematten is an austrian producer and seller of woven hammocks and their accessories since 1981. They produce by using a traditional method a variety of hammocks, but also separate constructions for attachment and placement in exterior and interior. The hammocks have different colors, designs and sizes: classic size for one or two persons, hammock for sitting or smaller hammocks for children.
